I formally declare and decree that as of January 11, 2024, I am officially changing and transforming "Nurses Eat Their Young" to “Nurses LOVE Their Young.”

January 11, 2024, marks my official declaration of the end of Nurses eating their young.

Nurses will no longer eat their young. Nurses will LOVE their YOUNG!!

I now decree that the "Nurses LOVE Their Young" initiative shall begin.

The primary purpose of the “Nurses LOVE Their Young” initiative is to provide an atmosphere of encouragement, mentorship, and professional development for our student nurses and recently graduated nurses.

This initiative is founded on the principles of love, compassion, support, mentorship, and creating a nurturing environment for student nurses and newly graduated nurses.

On this sacred journey of transforming the culture of nursing, this pledge is created for nurses to pledge their unwavering commitment to adopt and promote the “Nurses LOVE Their YOUNG” initiative by creating a culture of love, nurturing, support, mentorship, respect, and care for student nurses and recently graduated nurses within the nursing profession so that every action may resonate with pure and boundless love by implementing and embodying the “Nurses LOVE Their Young Pledge.”
